What should I wear?
Our dress code is semi-formal. We kindly ask that guests dress in cocktail attire—think dresses, jumpsuits, suits, or button-downs with slacks. Feel free to have fun with color, but please avoid white or anything that might outshine the bride!
Will there be food and beverages served?
Yes! A full food and dessert menu will be provided at the wedding. There will be an open bar with beer, seltzers, mixed drinks and wine available. If you'd like to tip the bartenders, don't forget to bring cash!
Note: We kindly ask that you don't bring any of your own alcohol, thank you.
Is there transportation to and from the venue?
Yes! We will be providing shuttle service to and from the venue.

Shuttles will be leaving from BOTH the Double Tree and Drury Inn at the following times.
1st Shuttle Leaves at 2:45PM
2nd Shuttle Leaves at 3:45PM
What time should I arrive?
The ceremony will begin at 4:30PM. Please arrive between 3:15-4:15 to allow time to be seated before the ceremony starts.
Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?
The ceremony will be held outdoors, weather permitting. The reception will take place both indoors and outdoors, so we recommend dressing comfortably for both!
What’s the weather like this time of year?
Weather is looking like a high of 85 and a low of 63 degrees. We will be outdoors enjoying the weather so please dress appropriately. There will be ample shade, air conditioned spaces, and cold beverages if you need to cool off!
How far is the venue from Mount Vernon?
The venue is located at 21500 E Wells Chapel Rd, Bluford, Illinois—about a 30-45 minute drive from most hotels in Mount Vernon.
Is there parking at the venue?
Yes, there is parking available at the venue. We will guide you when you arrive. Drop offs can be made for those who aren't able to (or don't want to) walk from your parking spot. We will also be offering golf cart rides from the parking spots as needed.
Can I bring a plus one?
We’d love to celebrate with everyone, but due to limited space, we are only able to accommodate those listed on your invitation. If your invitation says “and guest,” you’re welcome to bring a plus one!
Are children invited?
We are only able to accommodate children whose names are listed on the invitation or if your invitation includes “and family.” Thank you for your understanding as we keep our guest list intimate.
