Is there transportation to and from the venue?

Yes! We will be providing shuttle service to and from the venue.

Shuttles will be leaving from BOTH the Double Tree and Drury Inn at the following times.

1st Shuttle Leaves at 2:45PM

2nd Shuttle Leaves at 3:45PM

What time should I arrive?

The ceremony will begin at 4:30PM. Please arrive between 3:15-4:15 to allow time to be seated before the ceremony starts.

How far is the venue from Mount Vernon?

The venue is located on 21500 E Wells Chapel Rd in Bluford, Illinois—about a 30-45 minute drive from most hotels in Mount Vernon. The venue is right across the road from Wells Chapel Church in Bluford IL.

Is there parking at the venue?

Yes, there is parking available at the venue. We will guide you when you arrive. Drop offs can be made for those who aren't able to (or don't want to) walk from your parking spot. We will also be offering golf cart rides from the parking spots as needed.

Where should I stay?

We recommend staying at the Drury Plaza Hotel in Mt. Vernon, Illinois, or the DoubleTree by Hilton Mt. Vernon. Additionally, there are plenty of other hotel options in the area to suit various preferences and budgets.

Which airports are nearest for guests flying in?

MidAmerica St. Louis Airport (BLV) – Located in Belleville, IL, about 1 hour (52 miles) from Mount Vernon. This smaller airport is served by Allegiant Airlines with limited flight options.

Williamson County Regional Airport (MWA) – Located in Marion, IL, about 50 minutes (47 miles) from Mount Vernon. Flights are operated by Contour Airlines (partnered with American).

St. Louis Lambert International Airport (STL) – The largest nearby airport, located about 1 hour 30 minutes (91 miles) from Mount Vernon. Offers a wide range of major airlines and flight options.
